CurveBeam AI’s Enhanced HiRise System Receives Health Canada Approval and CE Marking
Hatfield, PA — July 1, 2025 — CurveBeam AI, a global leader in weight bearing CT imaging, is proud to announce that the Enhanced HiRise system has received Health Canada approval and has been granted CE Marking under the MDR (EU 2017/745). These regulatory clearances represent major milestones for CurveBeam AI’s continued international expansion and commitment to innovation in orthopedic imaging.
A New Standard in Weight Bearing Imaging
With these new approvals, the Enhanced HiRise can now be offered to care providers across Canada and Europe, empowering clinicians with precise, three-dimensional insight into lower extremity alignment and joint health under natural load. The Enhanced HiRise supports standing scans of the pelvis, hips, knees, and lower limbs—all in true weight bearing position, as well as non-weight bearing capabilities for the upper and lower extremities.
Upgraded for Performance and Comfort
The Enhanced HiRise, previously cleared by the U.S. FDA in July 2024, features a next-generation X-Ray source anbd supercharged power supply capable of delivering up to four times the X-Ray power of the Original HiRise, enabling diagnostic imaging of a wider range of patients.
In addition, the Enhanced HiRise includes next generation software for faster total scan and image reconstruction time.
With demand rising for point-of-care weight bearing CT imaging, CurveBeam AI continues to lead the way with solutions that combine diagnostic precision, operational efficiency, and patient-centered design.
