Position Summary:

We are looking for a full-time application developer with IT Systems Administration experience to join our internal team at our World Headquarters in Hatfield, PA. This position is focused primarily on the design, development, updating and improving multiple internal applications in support of the business requirements. Further, this role will require the candidate to augment the IT team and manage IT responsibilities to support day-to-day activities, internal employees and monitor and maintain or improve cybersecurity.

Application Developer – IT System Administrator

The goal of this role is to focus on improving the functionality, usability, and capabilities of multiple applications including its customer relationship management (CRM) platform, based on Microsoft Dynamics and PowerApps, and Quality Management System (QMS) platform, based on ETQ Reliance, to support the company’s growth strategy. The applications are utilized by all internal employees and will have a direct impact on all internal processes. The candidate will work closely with all stakeholders during the concept, development, design, and production stages of various projects. The candidate will be expected to become the expert in the development environments that are required for each application. In addition, the position will be responsible for maintaining the internal AD, DNS, DHCP systems and implementing industry standard security practices. Supporting internal users with Microsoft Office 365(Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and associated apps). Working with IT management to create, implement, and update internal procedures related to the IT infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and validate improvements to internal applications.
  • Work with other reporting analysts and business units to understand, communicate and resolve problems with reports, views, and other data related structures.
  • Present proposed functionality improvements to the team
  • Provide updates to business software end users
  • Provide detailed documentation to include design details, use instructions, and test plans.
  • Support internal users, laptops, PCs, servers, and server infrastructure
  • Maintain and improve internal IT procedures in compliance with Quality management system
  • Work closely with management and software developers to maintain and improve security across external customer devices and internal systems

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1-5 years’ practical experience in hands on IT Systems Administration
  • Python Scripting experience, required
  • Java Scripting experience
  • SQL database experience
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong professional communication skills required, both verbal and written
  • Must have the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work both in a team environment and alone, while multi-tasking.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products is a plus
  • Must be able to travel to customer sites as necessary (typically less than 10% per year).

  • Experience with ETQ product offerings
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience with Microsoft Power apps
  • Medical device industry experience.
  • Experience developing products in a heavily regulated industry (medical, aerospace)
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA CFR 820 and other cybersecurity international standards
